I feel humble to have been a part of an eCommerce scale project at Arrow.com; it has been a once in a lifetime experience. I have gained much knowledge around arrow.com’s systems, architecture and new Hybris API functionality, working with internal teams and external vendors to achieve company goals and timelines, and working with stakeholders to strategize and prioritize new functionality based on research in support of the user’s needs. I mostly supported the MyAccount and Checkout/Cart team, which were most affected, but also touched buying options (search and product detail page) for the Custom Reel project.
The goal of the project was to create a better and less confusing experience by separating the order into shipments instead of by US and Non-US Origins.
New SAP Hybris API integration will allow arrow.com to present real-time pricing and inventory updates to the frontend. I provided the designs, flows and ux strategy.
